Crag Martin
The population of the Crag Martin is fluctuating very much over long periods. But there are some reliable places to see this bird. You can find some on the pages National Park Berchtesgaden and The area around Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Aside this places the Crag Martin can be found in the Allgeau area. A little bit south of the German border (about 20 km linear distance) in the central alps e.g. around Innsbruck this Martin is rather common in some places. You can find Crag Martins for instance breeding in the Church of St. Martin near Lofer (southwest of the Berchtesgaden area) 14 km behind the Border to Austria at the B 311.
