Nonpasseriformes

Passeriformes

In every country there are two kinds of sought-after species. On the one hand these are species, that are generally widely distributed but can only be found at a few spots in the country. In Germany this are for instance Night Heron, Black Grouse, Woodchat Shrike, Melodious Warbler or Rock and Cirl Bunting. These birds are most attractive to the German Birdwatcher. 

On the other hand there are species, that are generally difficult to find or that have their main distribution in the country. In Germany for example Red Kite, Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Wallcreeper, Firecrest and Citril Finch. These are the species, that most of the foreign visitors want to see. The following survey considers both aspects:
